We love this place. Very clean place and friendly people. Nick and Emily are making a great go at a very hard business. Humble beginning. But I for see these guys expanding and a food truck would be very popular. We will return 100%! Btw we had a taco sampler. And did i metion they are lisened!? Make this place your next stop for tacos and margaritas.

Literally the best tacos in the game. Holy smokes. The chicken ones with the pineapple sauce is dangerously tasty. It looks like they only offer 4 tacos at a time to buy, wish you could get 2 or 3 at a time

Some of the best tacos you can get around the Okanagan, quick and fresh, good place to stop in for a quick bite outside on their picnic tables during the summer.

This place is awesome. Very traditional street tacos. I loved the flavor and taste. Get the pineapple salsa, it's amazing. I went twice while in town I will be back when I come back in a couple weeks.

Do yourself a favour and have these tacos! With each plate you get 4, I got one of every kind of meat and salsa, as per the owner's recommendation and it was spot on. Homemade sauces, both mild and hot, are a perfect extra touch. After my meal I was already thinking about when I was going to come there next. Everything is very fresh and quite authentic. if you love Mexican food as I do, go try this place! Very affordable for what it is. See you guys soon!

Husband and I had tacos here after a day on the lake. I think they changed the menu from previous owners, so some of the reviews might contain stuff they dont sell, but what they sell is really good none the less. We had one of each meat, and I really liked all of them- especially pork with pineapple salsa. Definately worth a stop by.

If you want true Mexican style tacos this is the place to go. Excellent service, extremely clean, and amazing tacos. The best Mexican tacos in the south Okanagan. Highly recommended, the new owners have turned this place into a gem!

The food is really tasty, especially recommend the pineapple salsa! Service was friendly. However, the prices are insane for the portion you get. We ordered a plate of quesadillas and a plate of tacos assuming that for the $30 price tag, two adults and one 3 year old would be satisfied. Not stuffed, but satisfied. A teeny tiny portion was delivered and was a great, tasty appetizer before our trip to McDonalds. Would recommend either lowering prices or increasing portion size to make it worthwhile.

Great place. My friend introduced me to this lovely, small taco place. The ladies that work here are nice, and their home made food is a delight.

Great tacos, the best we have ever had. Tried all four flavours of tacos and salsas and each is delicious and fresh. Highly recommend this place. The owners are very passionate and extremely focused on both the food and their customers.

Salsa was fresh so we gotta give it 2 stars the tacos are small and plain. There's to many good restaurants in penticton to return here.

Simple. Authentic. Delicious. So much so I had to order another 4. The meat was flavourful, the pico nice and sharp and the sauces had great heat and flavour. The owner came out and spoke to us and we could see first hand the passion he and his team have to deliver a consistent product. Best tacos I have had outside of Mexico.

Really good barbacoa tacos and chips with guacamole. Great value and a cool little space.

Always delicious tacos and great service

I ordered coconut crusted prawn tacos which turned out not to be crusted but cooked prawns with a few shavings of raw coconut placed underneath like lettuce. Also asked for no hot spices and that didn't happen either, my mouth was lava hot! The shocking part was not the food but hearing the two ladies cooking say "F this and F that... don't think that your going to F with me... " The whole experience was really aweful! They don't even care enough to remove the sticker from the lime wedge.

Best tacos I've had in a long time. Fresh food, good portions and it doesn't break the bank. Being a culinary vet of 16 years myself I had to poke my head back into the kitchen. It was immaculate, looked like they had just opened a day prior. Super impressed.

Much improved since the new owners took over. Authentic, flavorful and fresh. Great hot sauces, too. A little expensive for the portion size, but worth it.

Don't be fooled by humble appearances. Tacos del Norte punches way above Penticton's weight class for authentic Mexican flavours. Pollo taco was not overcooked and full of flavour. Absolutely love this place!I come here every Tuesday for their Taco Tuesday deal and it never disappoints. The food is authentic and spectacular, and the staff is kind, swift and knowledgeable. I seriously talk about how good this place is so much and endeavor to bring as many of my friends there as I can.I cannot recommend Tacos Del Norte enough.

Tacos were fantastic, weather was great, service was pleasant. This is a must stop place if you're in Penticton and like Tacos.

There are new owners now and the tacos there are sad excuse for a taco, just terrible. No lettuce sauce or anything as shown in the picture, literally meat and salsa on a soggy Tortola. Save your Money and don’t go here.

Food quality is good. Tasty and authentic.Portion size is terrible for the price.This type of food is not expensive to make and the overhead at this take out is as minimal as it gets for a location of its type.Larger portions much needed to satisfy ones hunger.

Didn’t enjoy the tacos, Chicken Chorizo Pork and steak all dry and flavourless The salsas to choose from was pico de Gallo Had no flavour and was very watery The pineapple one also no flavour and watery As well as the onion and cilantro We were told to come here from a family member we came all the way from the valley, we could of went somewhere else. Super disappointed No fish tacos No slaw No yummy chipotle sauces or chimichuris The portion was tiny and expensive Tacofino in Tofino is still the best We were hoping it would of been the same! Save your money go somewhere else.

Found this place by accident looking for parking and the tacos are excellent! Theses are authentic street tacos - prices are fair and the quality was great - definitely get the pineapple salsa!

Great little place!

Food tasted pretty good but portions were shockingly tiny for the price! Reminded me of the price gouging of airport food... Only worse. For me to pay this price again it would have to be certified organic.

Pork taco with pineapple was amazing. Chicken taco was good too but super spicy for mild. Was really expensive for what we got (especially the guac on our tacos). Menu was confusing - it didn’t list what each taco was, just the names- and no mention of any sides. Excellent service. Might give this another try in the summer.

Not much to choose from, the menu said they had different types of meat but in reality they only had one choice, which didn't taste bad, the bad part was the service, the staff is not friendly and very rude..Needless to say won't be returning because of the of bad service.If you don't mind rude people by all means food is not bad tasting.

Recently catered my wedding, they did an amazing job. Came to my venue, set everything up and served the most amazing tacos!!! Everyone could not stop talking about how nice they were and how delicious the spread was!

First off, if you've ever been to real taco stand in Mexico, the new owners have nailed it on the head. The food is fresh cooked right in front of your eyes. They have carnitas (pork), asada (beef), and pollo (chicken). I remember the old tacos del norte. I'm pretty sure it was $13 for three 6" tacos. Here it's $13 for four 4" tacos. Portions are literally exactly the same as the old owners. The big difference is in the quality of the food. Everything here is fresh, cooked right in front of you. I'm pretty sure the old owners made everything in slow cookers and your food hung out all day. No, there aren't any vegetarian options, because I'm pretty sure if you ordered a vegetarian taco in Mexico at a taco stand they would straight up laugh at you. All in all, authentic, really tasty tacos. Ask for them a la mexicana. Meat, onions, cilantro, sauce. The best!

The new owners ruined the place. I used to love the old Tacos Del Norte but now the portions are super small, the prices are super high, and there was barely any toppings. It’s such a shame what happened to this place, you lost a loyal customer :/
